Candid Public Affairs is a small team with a clear vision: delivering public affairs support to clients on day zero, ensuring all team members collaborate closely with clients, and being candid with clients about what we can and can’t do and what we won’t do.

Managing Director //

Constance Chucholowski has more than nine years experience advising international corporates and startups on their government relations build, strategy, and engagement in Berlin and Brussels. She has worked with digital and technology companies from early stage startups to globally established firms. Prior to founding Candid Public Affairs, she worked at multiple Berlin-based public affairs advisory firms, where she led several teams in supporting technology and digital service companies. Her focus is developing political engagement strategies on a wide range of issues, spanning from competition and innovation policy to content, artificial intelligence, and financial services. She has supported political campaigns in both the U.S. and Germany in a strategy and policy advisory capacity. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies and political science and a master’s degree in international public affairs. Constance is a member of the supervisory board of the wechange eG.

Doris Köster

Doris Köster supports clients in the development of political communication strategies as well as in their positioning vis-à-vis policymakers and the public. Doris advises on the development of strategic partnerships and in complex dialog processes. The diverse perspectives and in-depth understanding of political processes that Doris gained in more than 20 years in political communication, are the foundation of her consulting work. Her focus: topics and projects of socio-ecological transformation. After working for several years in communications agencies and television, she led political communications for a parliamentary party group and was managing director of a strategy consultancy. Most recently, Doris Köster was Head of Division at the Transformation Policy Management team at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection.
